What are the guidelines to follow during assembly of a climbing frame?

During Assembly Guidelines

-When building this play set, at least two adults are required for lifting and holding beams, frames or other heavy assemblies in position before bolting or screwing.
- For the estimated assembly time please refer to the front page of this assembly instructions.
- Keep the construction site clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas can cause accidents. Avoid assembling in poor weather conditions.
- Do not alter or deviate from our designs.
- Drill ø 3.5 mm pilot holes for regular wood screws and drill a hole ø 5 mm through both parts to be fastened for the stealth fasteners.
- In order to prevent the wood from splitting, drilling pilot holes are recommended for all screws. These pilot holes should be 10 mm shorter than the length of the screw.
- Drill a hole of ø 10 mm in the parts to be fastened by a bolt connection.
- Make certain that the heads of all screws are flush with the surface of the wood and there are no protruding sharp edges.
- Do not over-tighten hardware as it will crushes the fibres of the timber resulting in splitting of the boards and splinters. It must be firmly against, but not crushing the timber
- Orientate the swing hangers as shown to ensure your swing will have proper swing motion when installed. Failure to do so could result in premature failure of the swing hanger.
