Do I need to install ground anchors and how do I do so?

Our climbing frames are stable and safe, but we always recommend anchoring your playground to the ground to ensure your children's safety and prevent your playground from tipping over. Ground anchors are included in all our deliveries of the Jungle Gym climbing frames. The provided ground anchors are suitable for anchoring with or without concrete. Please follow our instructions below on how to use these properly.

How to install ground anchors?

Keeping your play set safe is incredibly important, which is why it's crucial to anchor it securely. This helps prevent it from falling over or moving around. If the soil conditions in your area make it easy for stakes to be pulled out, cementing becomes necessary for added stability. To install your ground anchors properly please follow the below listed instructions;

1- In your product assembly manual you'll find 'Section - 3 Anchor Plan' that explains the anchors' installation. Make sure to follow the instructions listed there.
2- Dig holes to the specified depth and diameter provided in the Assembly Manual Section 3 Anchor Plan.
3- Mix and pour concrete into the holes, Insert anchors into the wet concrete, ensuring they are level and aligned.
4- Once the concrete has cured, test the stability of the climbing frame by applying pressure and shaking it. Ensure that the anchors are securely embedded in the concrete and there is no movement or instability.
5- Use the provided hardware, such as bolts or chains, to attach the climbing frame to the ground anchors. For detailed instructions please refer to teh Assembly Manual Section 7 Assembly Planning.

Remember to keep an eye on the ground anchors and make sure they are not sticking out, as this can be a potential tripping hazard for children. By taking these precautions, you can create a safer and more enjoyable play environment for everyone.
