At Jungle Gym, safety always comes first. Our play equipment strictly complies with the European standard EN 71-8 for toys and home playground equipment. A Monkey Bar Module presents specific safety challenges, particularly because children tend to climb onto the horizontal ladder. This increases the fall height beyond what standard impact-absorbing surfaces like grass, sand, or fine gravel can safely cushion, which is a maximum fall height of 1.50 meters.
Many private play areas are not equipped with special rubber tiles or other professional impact-absorbing materials, which are essential to ensure safety at greater fall heights. For this reason, we have chosen not to offer Monkey Bar Modules.
Instead, we offer a wide range of safe and exciting climbing and adventure modules, such as our Climb Module or Net Bridge, which encourage children to play actively and adventurously while staying within safe limits. This way, we ensure not only fun but also peace of mind for parents.
Why is the Monkey Bar Module not part of the assortment?

- They must be correctly installed to ensure safety.
- Without these mats, the play equipment does not meet safety standards.
For these reasons, Jungle Gym does not offer the Monkey Bar Module at this time.
