Reasons for Variation:
Wood Absorbs and Releases Moisture
Wood is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air in humid conditions and releases it in dry conditions.
This natural process can affect the dimensions and shape of the timber.
Tolerance in Dimensions
We apply a plus/minus tolerance to the dimensions of our timber parts, such as boards, beams, and posts.
This means there may be deviations of up to 10% in measurements, which is perfectly normal.
No Worries for Assembly!
We’ve accounted for these natural variations in our design. All Jungle Gym equipment can still be easily assembled using the instructions provided.
