What Are Wood Checks?
Checks are small separations along the grain of the wood caused by changes in temperature and moisture.
These are not actual cracks but are simply natural changes in the wood fibres as they adjust to different conditions.
Wood checks do not affect the strength or durability of your playground equipment and are not covered under warranty.
